DICKSON, Jimmy (1921)

Overview

A former Queen's Park player who joined Accies in 1921. He was an extremely talented inside forward. After only 13 League starts for Accies he sustained a broken leg in a match against his previous club at Hampden with Accies ahead 5-1 ten minutes from the end. Following his return to Accies first team it was obvious that he was not fully fit and he never was the same player again.

He signed for Royal Albert then moved shortly afterwards to Solway Star.

Debut on 17th August 1921 in a Scottish League match at home to Heart of Midlothian.
