MILLAR, Alex (1915)

Overview

A former Larkhall Thistle and Kilmarnock player, having gone to Rugby Park in July 1914 from the junior club. Accies signed Alex in December 1915. He had played 18 times for Kilmarnock and was reputed to be safe and dependable rather than brilliant. He was a member of the successful Thistle side which won the Scottish Junior Cup in 1914 after two replays against Ashfield Juniors at Firhill. The third match was played in front of 20,000 at Cathkin Park.

Debut on 11th December 1915 in a Scottish League match away to Clyde.
