Overview

A well thought of junior who was played at inside left at Douglas Park against Arbroath in 1957. He was a Pollok player. In March 1958 he was signed by Preston North End, to be released without playing for them and he joined Queen of the South, this in May 1961. He then moved to Tranmere Rovers, Hibernian, Barnsley, Peterborough and finally Northampton Town.

Born in Newton on 20th May 1939.

Debut on 21st December 1957 in a Scottish League match at home to Arbroath in a 2-2 draw.
