KING, Robert (1903)

Overview

An outside left who scored valuable goals in his few outings in Accies Championship winning season of 1903-04. He found it wasn’t easy to keep John Curran out of the side and he moved on. Possibly from Dykehead.

Robert played with Airdrieonians in season 1895-96 as he did the following year. His next move took him to Leicester Fosse then Glossop NE before again turning out for the Leicester side and it was from them that he came to Douglas Park in 1902.
