THE SULKY ONE

It was a nice day but one way or another the poor lonesome cowboy Lucky Luke was moody. He sat with a long face on is loyal horse Jolly Jumper.

His lament sounded like, “ I am a poor lonesome cowboy.”

Jolly thought: ‘What a moaning. I am going to do something about it.’ The stallion stopped and threw the cowboy off his back. Of course Luke was insulted.

With his arms crossed over each other he asked, “What do we have here now?”

“You are one piece of a sulky one cowboy!”, answered Jolly.

Somewhere else the prison dog Ran Tan Tan walked who recognized Lucky Luke.

“That is Lucky Luke. I am going to cheer him up because he looks so angry”, said Ran Tan Tan.

The dog ran up to the cowboy who recognized him too. Luke was so pleased to see Ran Tan Tan that he had lost his angry mood and began to laugh.

Now Jolly jumper said moody, “By that walking flea shop I am now angry and that cowboy glad!”

Lucky Luke continued his journey by singing cheerful, “I am a poor lonesome cowboy.”
