LASAGNA LAND

One day the orange cat Garfield was once again lazing around in his lazy chair. Slowly his eyes got shut and Garfield dreamed the following:

He came outside to get a breath of fresh air. Because he just had woken up at first he looked a bit languid out of his eyes but his nose worked very well. At once Garfield was wide awake when he smelled the delicious smell of lasagna.

“I must be dreaming because I smell everywhere lasagna”, Garfield said pleased.

He squeezed himself and yelled it out.

“No, it isn’t a dream. I see and smell everywhere lasagna”, said the orange cat.

He walked to the garden fence and licked at it.

“Yes, this is real lasagna”, he said licking his lips.

Quickly he took a big bite out of the lamp post ad that too tasted like lasagna. Garfield looked around him and didn’t know what he saw. As far as he could see everything was made of lasagna.

“Woo pie, I have ended up in Lasagna land. Hopefully Nermal isn’t there and neither is Odie”, he yelled excited.

Garfield decided to go to the center and there too was everything made of lasagna. The orange cat decided to take his chance and ate as much as he could. Soon everything was gone and Garfield stood in an empty area.

He let hear a loud burp and said, “Let’s get on with my snack.”

Now it was the turn of the city hall to be eaten and that was gone in a little time.

After the city hall the rest of the town got eaten as well by Garfield who had the time of his life.

He ate everything which was loose and steady but didn’t realize that he also ate his own house. After the enormous big meal Garfield looked around him and everything around him was gone.

“Oh dear, where is my house? Where is Odie? Where is Jon?”, he asked amazed.

He thought for a moment and realized then that he had eaten everything and everyone.

“Oh no, now I am all alone. Now I can never pester Odie again. Hopefully I haven’t eaten Nermal too”, he said worried.

At that moment Garfield woke up because he fell out of his lazy chair and laid close by the dog Odie.

“Odie! You are alive and I haven’t eaten you. Just like the house”, the cat said relieved.

He ran to the window and looked outside. Everything was like it was. Nermal came walking by but Garfield pretended he didn’t see him.

“Fortunately I haven’t eaten Nermal too because he doesn’t taste anyway. But such a land as Lasagna land is the end for a modest lasagna lover like me”, he said.
