     Have you ever dreamed to travel abroad? Almost everyone has an American dream. For students, they may not have enough money to travel abroad. But now students can attend a program which is about traveling in America by having a part time job. This program is called “Work and Travel in U.S.A.” Through this program, students can enjoy the culture and the American lifestyle in three months. Here I will show some information about the work and travel program, including the orientations, the costs, and the tours included in the program.

     To attend the program, you must first go to the orientation to get to know how to join it. In the orientation, the procedures of application, and how to select a job and look for an apartment will be discussed. You can choose your job according to your English speaking level. There’re different kinds of jobs, such as waiters, salesmen, and housekeepers, etc. Some hosts will provide dormitories, but some will not. So it’s important for you to know how to find an apartment. You can find apartments through the Internet or newspapers. You can also walk on the streets to look for apartments when you are in America.

     Once you attend the program, you have to pay for the application, the interview, and the airplane tickets. When you arrive in America, you need to pay for the costs of living and transportation fees. Maybe some people need to pay the rent for apartments. By the way, you have to save your money because you may take a trip after you finish your job.

     The last part, the tour, is also a part that many people are interested in. After a long time of working, everyone is keen to have a trip to relax. You can go to the States that are near where you are or choose the far ones. Most people will tour in America for about seven to fourteen days. If you want to tour many States, it’s important that you have an itinerary about your trip beforehand. It will make your trip more efficient and enjoyable. 

     It’s a program which can give you fun and help you practice English. If you are interested in the program, search the Internet or ask your English teachers. Be sure that you realize the information about the orientations, the costs, and the tours completely so that you can have a memorable trip.
