My Dad

     My dad is a hard-working man, growing up in a small village, Taixi. He seems like other ordinary fathers. He works for our family and devotes himself to fixing appliances. Besides, he is the owner of an appliance shop. To me, Dad is wonderful with three admirable qualities. These personality traits are loving to watch cartoons with us, wearing dress pants in four seasons and patiently communicating with us.

     Firstly, my dad is busy in work and yet he loves to spend time watching cartoons with us. When I was little, it wasn’t easy to talk with him because he was serious in my eyes. Growing up, I found we have become closer by watching cartoons together. He has a childlike heart to watch those cartoons we love. Day by day, I found my dad is not serious, and he also loves to discuss the plot of cartoons with us. Some people consider him a strange father because they think he is no longer a kid and why he watches cartoons? However, my dad doesn’t care what others think, and insists on spending time watching cartoons with us.

     Secondly, he always keeps his style by wearing dress pants , even in summer. He is a very incredible person, and I have never seen him wearing shorts. Sometimes, I suggest him to wear shorts, but he usually says that he feels uncomfortable when wearing shorts. He wears dress pants to set up air-conditioners, to go traveling, and to go anyplace. My dad told me that pants prevent his foot from getting hurt or being stung by mosquitos.

     My dad is a patient person, and he tries to communicate with us. I have two brothers, and I am the only girl at home. The ways he communicates with me are quite different from how he talks with my brothers. For example, my father knows I am an active girl. Thus, after I become a college student, he suggests me some ideas about my future. At this time, I really feel confused about the future so my dad shares his own story with me. His story has inspired me; besides, he is always patient to listen to me, and gives me good advice.

     I am very pound of my dad. He uses his unique way to get along with his children. No matter how the world changes, he still keeps his ways of life: by watching cartoons, wearing dress pants all the time and patiently communicating with us. No one could replace him in my heart.
