Internet Classrooms vs. Traditional Classrooms

The classroom is the most important environment for a student. Nowadays, everything changes because of the advanced technology. In the light of the Internet, the classrooms can be divided into two categories. One is Internet classrooms; the other is traditional classrooms. Although there are some advantages in each of them, I prefer Internet classrooms. I think Internet classrooms have many more benefits than traditional classrooms. The following paragraphs will show the reasons why Internet classrooms are better than traditional classrooms.

First, Internet classrooms have more resources for us to search for what we need. If we have some problems, we can find the solutions through the Internet as soon as we can. And we usually can get multiple solutions to our problems. The Internet will provide us a lot of information. So, it is a convenient way for us to get access to a large amount of relevant information.

Another advantage of Internet classrooms is that we can get what we need and want in any place or from a distance. With Internet classrooms, we don’t need to learn from a teacher face to face. Maybe someone who just dares not talk with teachers or someone who is shy will get benefits from the Internet classroom. With Internet classrooms, knowledge in any place can be taught to students anywhere. In this way, we can even get the knowledge that we cannot get access to in our own country.

Finally, the biggest advantage of Internet classrooms is that we can make an adjustment in learning time according to our progress and timetable. When we are in traditional classrooms, we may not concentrate on the class or even fall asleep. With Internet classrooms, we can choose the best time when we are full of energy to learn. We won’t waste the teacher’s effort and our time. It is a more efficient and useful way of learning.

As time goes by, classrooms’ equipment is evolving. With Internet classrooms, we have a better choice in learning. It is Internet classrooms that make learning more convenient and efficient. In my opinion, Internet classrooms would be a better choice for us in learning.
