The Importance of Time

Time has no beginning and no end, everyone's life is limited, and the time belonging to a person is also limited. If a person's life comes to an end, the time he or she has will also come to an end. The four seasons are still changing in turns. Every year flowers bloom at a certain time and then wither and regenerate. However, there is only one life for a person. Therefore, we should cherish the time that belongs to us. I have realized the significance of time as I am growing older and that we should make good use of time to understand its importance.

I used to think that time does not exist. When I was a child, I often went to Grandma's house to play. I didn't know it was time to go home until my mother came to pick me up. Mother always thought I had no idea of time. She always told me that I had to go home on time, but I always played and forgot the time. Thus, she had to come and pick me home in person. After I went to the kindergarten, I gradually got a sense of time because the classes were always arranged at the regular time.

I gradually feel pressured because of becoming aware of the existence of time. One good example is my taking the exam in elementary school. The exam in elementary school was limited to 50 minutes. However, it took me a long time to write before I realized that the time was not enough. Another example is that when I was about to take the entrance examination, the limited preparation time before the exam made me feel the time pressure enormously.

I have many ways to use time. I have the habit of making a pr-planned chart and make good use of every minute and every second to complete the planned task. Thus, whenever the exam is coming, I always make a reading plan and arrange the study time for each subject. I can always make progress and attain my goal easily.

From my ignorance of time to making good use of it, I have slowly learned the importance of time through my growth path. Time will not stop for anyone. If we want to catch up, we must cherish time. Once it is gone, the chance might be gone. Thankfully, the things I have experienced have allowed me to grow and made me realize how to cherish time and eliminate wasteful behavior. After all, there are twenty-four hours in a day, and that is the fairness of time.
