Classification of My Books

There is no doubt that all of us have several books on our bookshelves. As for me, reading is a part of my life. Therefore, there are lots of books on my bookshelf. According to different content, these books can be classified into three types: science fictions, romantic fictions, and historical novels.

Most of the books on my bookshelf are science fictions. A large number of them are about the future with incredible possibilities. My favorite sci-fi book is The World of Tomorrow, which tells a story of saving the world. In the intense and inspiring climax, the heroes attack the enemy camp bravely and rescue the hostages. But unfortunately, several people are killed. After suffering many difficulties, the team complete the task of saving the planet and building a better world.

A small number of my books on the bookshelf are about the romantic love story. These novels focus on the relationship and romantic love between two people. The most moving one is Daisy, which tells a sad story about a poor girl chasing her love bravely. The heroine, Daisy, was born in a poor rural family and came to the big city for a better living but landed with a cleaning job in a small market. When Daisy was bullied and humiliated, she met a gentleman who helped her through this hard time and fell in love with him. However, her love was despised by other people. This couple experienced a lot of misery and their love story ended in tragedy.

Other books on the bookshelf tell history, which are also my favorite. Generally speaking, Historical books are set in the past and focus on events of different periods. History of Egypt is a heavy book. It describes the origin of Egypt as well as the secret of pyramids. Whenever I read this book, I can find many things to satisfy my curiosity and can’t move myself away from it.

All of the books on my bookshelf are well preserved. The fantastic wonderlands in scientific fictions, the touching love experience in romantic fictions as well as the epic stories in historical fictions have had profound impact on me. No matter which type they belong to, I’d like to read them over and over again.
