Deja vu

     Deja vu is a word that describes people’s experiencing a feeling which they might have experienced before. The feeling just appears suddenly. And people can’t recognize whether they have really experienced it before. I have had the experiences of deja vu a few times. According to my experiences and my researching into the documents, I attribute deja vu to three possible reasons: we might have experienced the incidents in our previous lives, we might have ever dreamed the incidents before, and we might have seen the whole things that will be happening in our lives before we were born.

     The first reason is that we might have experienced the incidents in our previous lives. Some people believe that people have lives more than the present one. In our previous lives, we might be a cook, a doctor, or a president. However, we can’t remember anything about our previous lives. But someone says that deja vu makes us recall our previous lives. When deja vu happens, we can see some images and we can feel different because we are recalling something that we had ever experienced in our previous lives.

     The second possibility for the happening of deja vu is that we dreamed the image before. For example, once I went to buy lunch. I told a clerk what I wanted. Suddenly, deja vu happened. I just had a familiar feeling at the moment. Next second I understood that I had ever dreamed this image a few months ago. Because of this experience, I knew that deja vu is also relative to our dreams.

     The last possibility is that we might have seen everything before we were born. I have ever read a book, which says,” Before we were born, we had already seen everything that would be happening in our lives. After we were born, we forgot everything.” In this sense, the image is a kind of guide in our live. When daja vu happens, we see the image which guides us deal with the tough situation we meet.

        To return to the subject, deja vu is a special feeling. Even with a lot of experts’ explanations on the phenomenon, we are still not so sure which one is true. Most people have ever experienced deja vu. Is deja vu a hint for our past or a suggestion for our future? We don’t know. The only thing I’m sure is that deja vu is a word from France. And I know that deja vu is a mysterious circumstance every one of us can experience once in a while.
