The New Experience at College

Unknowingly I had begun a new life of a college student. The first day, I stepped into the classrooms, facing unfamiliar classmates and teachers. I felt nervous and excited. In the first class I met my teacher Mr. Skupin. He impressed me that he is a lovely teacher. He seems like the KFC grandfather--very cordial and smiling, but when he is angry it’s very horrible, so try not to break the rules he set.

I felt very fresh that I had a group of lively classmates. They don’t know each other before this class, but they soon made themselves familiar. They made me feel relaxed and happy in class. That was good for me. I think this is a great learning environment. At least they can make me not feel nervous about learning in a strange environment.

Let’s talk about my college’s environment. My college Chinese Culture University is a great place for learning. There is a lot of learning equipment and classrooms to be used. The university library is quite big for me. I didn’t see a bigger library before than this one. On the 7th floor of the library there is an audio-visual room for students to borrow movies and watch. That’s a great place for learning language. Of course the college also has a large stadium. It got swimming pool, gym, rhythm room, indoor running track and other sports facilities.

Apart from this I also join the club activities in college and this is my first experience of joining the club activities. I choose my favorite hobby of dance as my club activity. During the dance practice there were a lot of people coming for the practice. We all danced to the music and shook our bodies enjoying the moment. It’s really a different experience for me. I hope I can find the happiness and relaxation during the dance practice.

I felt excited about everything and I’m looking forward to it. I’m ready for the brand new college life and I hope that I can meet a lot of great friends in this college. I also hope to acquire more knowledge. I think it must be happy and exciting to complete the courses smoothly during the four years in Chinese Culture University. This is the wonderful new experience for me.
