Life Without Elextronic Media

Most of us rely on electronic media, such as video games, computers, TV, and cell phones for information and entertainment. However, what would we do if all electronic media disappeared? We must be influenced in three aspects: the entertainment, the communication, and the mood.

To begin with, we would lose a lot of entertainment. We would lose our hobbies. We couldn't use the computer, we couldn't watch TV, and we couldn't listen to music by MP3 players. We also couldn't play video games or do exercise by Wii video games. Besides, we couldn't search information by cell phones or computers immediately. We couldn't shop online when we did not want to go out. We couldn't make movies by using computers and enjoy watching them. We might need to buy newspapers to get all information. We even couldn't share our feelings on the social network or keep journals without using pens. And we couldn’t listen to news broadcasts in our car when we drove on the highway.

Second, it would be very inconvenient for us to communicate with our friends and family. Because we do not have cell phones, we could not call our friends and family outside when we need to tell them about something important. And with no cell phone, it might be hard for us to get help in order to get out of some unexpected dangerous situation. Also, we couldn't chat with others by using cell phones anytime. We couldn't send messages or e-mails to others by using computers. In this modern time, people really need those electronic products.

Then, our moods must be greatly influenced if we lived without electronic media. We must feel bored when we lost hobbies and habits. Our life would change. We might feel that we did not have any direction so that we might be in a bad mood. It is the greatest and the worst impact.

To sum up, living without electronic media must make our life very different. Some entertainment would disappear. The way of communication would change. Also, our emotions would be changeable. And all social progress would freeze. That would be very inconvenient and terrible for most people nowadays.
