Eating in the Classroom Is Bad

We know that eating in the classroom is impolite. In the high school we had enough time for lunch, so eating in the classroom is forbidden, but do we also have the time in college? In my opinion, eating in the class is impolite, but the reasons that make students unable to finish their lunch in the lunch time come up in my mind. There have two reasons below ,working at lunch time, or the classes at the lunch time.

Working at lunch time is the first reason because the restaurant is always busy at noon. As I have to work, I always pick up my lunch and run to my next class. During the class, I know eating in the class is unpleasant to others but I am very hungry, so I still eat in the classroom.

The other one reason is that some classes are from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. or from 12 A.M. to 2 P.M. At the times, students can’t go out for their lunch, which makes them hungry or absent-minded in class. If we don’t want to be absent for the class and don’t get hungry, we have to eat in the classroom.     

In conclusion, although we understand studying is our duty and eating in class is not a good manner for teachers, we still need to eat our lunch in the classroom if the class time conflicts with our lunch time.
