My Opinions about Online Games

Nowadays every family has one computer at least. Children and teenagers are spending a lot of time playing computer games, especially after the online game is popularized in the society. Every time I saw the advertisement for online games, I only thought about their shortcomings. First, playing online games wastes our time. We can’t learn anything from the games. In most online games, players are killing monsters and accumulate experiences to a higher level and win the game. They don’t need to think but click the mouse. Second, if we play online games for a long time without taking a rest, it will hurt our eyesight. And more and more people have to wear eyeglasses. Many young children wear glasses because they spend a lot of time playing online games. Third, some people will play online games all days and do not do the things that they have to do. If they are employees, they may lose their job. For example, Facebook is the most famous website. Many employees play facebook’s games when they are at work. Their bosses don’t like this behavior. If the employees still play games when they are at work, they may be dismissed from their job. Finally, some online games are violent. If children play this kind of games, it may influence their minds. Maybe they will think all of the behaviors in the game are acceptable and it will cause many problems. Perhaps they will bully their classmates. So, parents should be aware of the kind of games their children play. But the best way is not to play the online game. I think it is good for everyone.
