Essential Qualities of a Good Leader

There are many outstanding leaders in the world. Each of them has his or her unique personality traits. Due to these characteristics, they can be successful and famous. There are some qualities that I consider that a good leader must own.

First, having fluent speaking ability is very important. These leaders may present their thoughts to people on stage or TV often. As a result, it is an essential quality they must own. Second, possessing sincere and winning smiles is also significant. If they always have a depressing look, people will consider they have a bad temper or negative perspective. Third, owning high EQ is definitely essential for leaders. Because they have to face lots of people, and they don't know what folks they will deal with. As a result, they must own the sense of crisis at any possible sudden situation so they can handle it smoothly

The American president Obama is the most excellent leader I have ever known. He has all the qualities that I have mentioned. He is not only friendly to the people of his nation, but also kind to the people of other races and countries. Being the president for eight years, he has done lots of beneficial policies and actions for his country, such as providing national health care to citizens, enhancing social security, strengthening public education, and reviving the economy, etc.

There are lots of successful and remarkable leaders that I can’t list here. Still, we can learn about the excellent qualities they have. Then, we can try to improve ourselves and become a better person as well. Although we may not be an outstanding leader just like them, we can be a positive, charming, and engaging person.
