The Kinds of Things in My Drawers

Wherever I live, I always have a desk in my room. There are four drawers in my desk. I classify my things into several kinds in order to put them into my drawers.

The biggest drawer is in the center of the desk. I always put the things that I use the most often into the biggest drawer. Therefore, this drawer is pulled and closed again and again every day. Every day after I buy foods and drinks in the convenience store, I get lots of invoices. And I put them into the biggest drawer and arrange them orderly. Furthermore, I also put gift coupons and stationery, including pens, clippers, and glues into this drawer. The most important thing in this drawer is medicines. If I feel uncomfortable or get sick, I can take medicines from this drawer quickly.

The other drawers of the desk are smaller. I always put my important papers in the first of these drawers. When I want to use those papers, I can fetch them easily. Those important papers include bankbooks and warranties. Besides, I also put my friends’ cards into this drawer. As I lose my friends’ phone numbers, I can take out these cards to search the phone numbers.

   In the second drawer, I put my testimonials. I put them in it neatly. I also put cards that my good friends and teachers send me into this drawer. I seldom open this second drawer unless I need my testimonials to prove things or I get new cards from my friends.

   I think the drawer that is at the lowest place should contain heavy things so the desk will be steady. Therefore, I put my manual materials in the lowest drawer. Those materials are various plastic pearls. The weight of those pearls is very heavy. So I consider that my desk will be very steady.

   I am used to classifying my things into several kinds to put them into my drawers. Therefore, I can find things smoothly when I need them. I think this is a good habit. Everyone can also try this method.
