     Strolling down on the streets has been one of people’s favorite entertainments. Somehow, in recent years, online shopping is more popular than going to the physical stores. According to the report, under the effect of the thriving of the Internet and busy lives of the modern generation, more and more people prefer to shop online. Comparatively speaking, I think shopping online is more convenient, can save more time and money, and is more practical than going to the physical shops.

     In my experiences, shopping in the online shops is more convenient than in the physical shops. First of all, we need to use only our computer or cellphone to do online shopping. All we have to do is to turn on our computer and search the websites we want to visit. Second, compared to the physical stores, it is easier to find the thing we want to buy online. Third, the items we buy online can be delivered to the place where we want to receive them. This is especially convenient for people whose working hours are very long.

      Another advantage of online shopping is it can save more time and money. For example, we can save the time of heading to the physical stores if we shop on the Net. Furthermore, there are more and more online stores offering concessions in order to attract more customers, which also benefits customers. It is also very effective when we want to compare the items in different stores. We can browse through as many online stores as we like to find the product that is the best and cheapest.

     Finally, there is abundant information on the Internet. Usually, the online stores will put the information on the web page. By contrast, we may not gain much introduction even if we go to the physical shops. Also, there are always pictures with models in the clothes products below the items on the websites of the online stores. It is really helpful to the customers. However, I think the most useful information is the comments of other customers. There are always comments or articles about what others who have bought the same product think about the products. This kind of information helps me a lot.

     People usually have to work overtime nowadays. Luckily, online shopping is becoming more and more popular. The advantages of being convenient and useful not only make it become one of people’s favorite pastimes but also let the online shops flourish. Most people tend to do those things that can save time and money, because time and money are very precious. In addition to these advantages of online shopping, the cellphones and the Internet are universal in this generation. Not surprisingly, according to the survey, in Taiwan about seventy percent of people tend to shop online, reflecting the attractive merits of online shopping.
