The Types of Movies I Like

I like to see movies when I have free time because watching movies makes me relaxed and I can learn many things from them. My favorite types of movies are comedies, action movies, and science fiction movies.

I can’t like comedies more. They always make me happy when I was upset. I felt homesick very much a month ago, since this was my first time to come to Taipei for studying. And then I remembered a comedy—Three Idiots. It’s a long Indian comedy, and it tells a story about how three men studied and got success in the end. This movie made me laugh happily, because the actors did funny actions, and the music in the movie was cheerful. In addition, it has a happy ending. So I felt better after I saw the movie, for it made me believe that life is beautiful and I should cheer up.

Action movies always remind me of heroes and justice. One of my favorite action movies is IP MAN. It was concerned about the situation when China was in a mess. However, the hero, Yewen always helped people to get out of danger. I’m proud of him for he had a sense of honor about China. This kind of action movies gives me power and a sense of justice when I think the world is unfair. And I believe that I should keep a warm heart to face my life.

I also like science fiction movies. It’s really a kind of amazing movies. It shows a fantastic world, and forces me to learn more about science. For example, INCEPTION is a great science fiction movie. In fact, I don’t understand many things mentioned in the movie. But it arouses my curiosity about science and I think curiosity is the best teacher that helps me explore the unknown world.

These are the types of movies l like. They can boost my mood. when I am sad, I watch comedies to uplift my spirits. And action movies make me feel powerful. In addition, I know there are many unknown exciting things in the world after I watch science fiction movies.
