Ways of Losing Weight

Many young girls want to lose weight to stay in shape. Actually, being overweight makes us not only unattractive but also unhealthy. If we become fat, we’ll have heart disease, obesity, diabetes and so on. So girls always think of some ways to lose weight, like eating fruits, eating nothing or taking medicine.

 

My senior high classmate, Abby often ate fruit in the afternoon. In fact, eating fruit with a meal was sometimes good for us because of its nutrition, but it was sometimes bad for us because of blood sugar. If we continue eating only fruit for a long time, our body will be worse than before.

 

 Some girls eat nothing to lose weight. For example, my senior high classmate, Rebecca, usually didn’t eat anything because she wanted to her fat. All of us thought she had a good figure but she wanted to reduce more weight. She sometimes used a paper to insist to lose weight; she also used a cutter to sculpture the words to lose weight on her arms to remind herself. Most important, she didn’t realize it will harm her body seriously. That’s so horrible.

 

Many advertisements are about diet pill which was losing weight. It usually attracted girls to try it. We might call to buy this kind of medicine. Most medicine was bad for our health because some ingredients in the medicine harm our health seriously. Some people might eat too much of this kind of medicine. Finally, they are sent to the hospital and had an operation to recover our body, but their body may have been badly damaged.

 

Eating fruits, eating nothing and using medicine to lose weight are bad for our health. The best way to lose weight is doing exercise, and having a balanced diet. In this way, we can not only keep good shape but also have a healthy body.
