Education from Three Types of Mothers

Mothers play an important part in everyone’s life. The reason is that they are the ones who give birth to children. Naturally, children would rather be with their mothers than be with their fathers. As far as I am concerned, I am very much attached to my mother, and talk with her every trifle in life. Nevertheless, mothers use different ways to treat their children. And I can divide mothers into three types according to their ways of education for their children.

The first type is the most common type of mothers now that they always do their best to satisfy their children. I heard from the news that the singer Beyonce spent fifteen million buying a golden rocking horse for her daughter. From my point of view, it is not essential to buy such expensive toys for children because children will not cherish what they have. This type of mothers tends to spoil their children.

Another type of mothers is strict to their children. If children do not do well on their tests, they must be seriously punished by their mothers. I think my mothers belong to this type because when I did something wrong in my childhood, my mom usually scolded me loudly and sometimes even pinched me. I have to admit it is not a good way to teach children because it would restrict children’s imagination and thinking, and harm them mentally.

The third type is the mothers who do not interfere their children. It doesn’t mean that they spoil their children. They just want their children to live at liberty. Most mothers force their children to study in the cram school. However, this type of mothers would respect their children’s wish. For example, if children prefer singing to studying, their mothers would support them. Consequently, the children of these mothers can live more happily than others.

These three types of mothers have different ways to take care of their children, but all of them love their children very much. Although we cannot choose our mothers, we still need to hold our mothers in esteem. After all, it is not an easy job for mothers to raise a child. To sum up, people should always love and respect their mothers.
