The Transportation I Take to Go Home

     I love my family. I remember when I was a freshman, I always thought of my family when I was alone. My hometown is located in Chiayi. There is a lot of difference between Taipei and Chaiyi. I go back to my hometown twice a month by taking Taiwan High Speed Rail. It’s the most expensive transportation. But it takes me the least time.

     I can take many kinds of transportation to go back home. One of them is the bus. Everyone has a fixed seat on the bus. There are six or seven TV sets on the bus that provide movies for passengers. The seats are usually fixed and cannot be adjusted to fit my height. That makes me very angry because I couldn’t sleep well. The second transportation is the train. I think the seats of train are the most comfortable among these transportations. The last is Taiwan High Speed Rail. Each passenger has a table for putting food. It’s very considerate because I always eat dinner before arriving Chiayi.

     The bus is the cheapest transportation. It would be very cheap on some special hour, because very few people would take the transportation during that time. The price for the bus ticket is about two-hundred to three-hundred dollars. The price for the train ticket is six-hundred dollars. Taiwan High Speed Rail is the most expensive transportation. The price of the ticket is about one-thousand dollars.

     Taking the bus would take me the most time. It takes me about six hours to get to Taipei when there’s a serious traffic jam. But it usually takes me only four hours when there is not much traffic. The train is not always on time and it takes me about three hours for my trip home. Taiwan High Speed Rail is the fastest transportation. It takes me only half an hour.

     The ticket of Taiwan High Speed Rail is the most expensive among these transportations, but it’s also the fastest transportation. I think time is money. I really don’t like wasting my time on taking transportation. So I choose Taiwan High Speed Rail as the transportation to go home.
