Continuing My Study in England

As a university student, we need to plan for our future. After graduating from university, I plan to continue my studying. I would go to a graduate program in a foreign country, such as England.

My major is business English and I think that studying abroad can help me improve my English. English is the native language in England. So it’s better for me to study in England. We can know more about English culture and expand our horizon. And if we study in Taiwan for a long time, maybe we don’t have such fantastic experiences.

In a foreign country, we have more chances to contact with foreigners and also strengthen our knowledge of English. In Taiwan, we always talk in Chinese rather than English. In this way, we can’t improve our English efficiently and even don’t know the correct English usages. Many Chinese students can speak fluent English after studying abroad for a few years because they can only use English in their daily life there.

If we go to study in England, maybe we can find a good job there and at the same time, we can learn how to get along with foreigners. However, in Taiwan, we don’t have lots of chances to get along with foreigners and we can’t know more about English culture. Different countries have different lifestyles and our life would be full of fun if we have the opportunity to study in a foreign country.

After graduating from the university, people have different choices. And I will choose to study abroad. Studying in an English-speaking country is helpful for my studies and future.
