The Law for Regulating Online Games

There are not clear laws for regulating online games in Taiwan. I think that the government should care about the industry of online games. There are many animations from Japan. Most online games are derived from animations. However, most online games originated in Korea. Taiwanese agents buy the copyright of online games from Korea.

The agents always claim that the new versions of the games will be the same as the original. It’s an advancement which can appeal to many players. However, although the version has been renewed, the content isn’t the same as the original. For instance, SD Gundam Online always didn’t open up properties that should be present after the vision is renewed.

The agent’s purpose is to let the players buy these virtual treasures at a higher price. It’s a cheat for consumers. Many players are dissatisfied with the agent’s behaviors. They complain to the press and protest in activity about the contest. They even complain in the official blog, but no one cares about online games. Agents still do that as usual. They also have a bad online quality. They are disconnected so often. I think Taiwan should have clear laws for online games. Otherwise, most players will lose their rights and interests.
