High School Students and College Students

There are different stages in our learning process. Although every student has the same duty to study hard in every stage, we can find the big turning point between the high school and the college. In my opinion, there are three obvious differences between high school students and college students.

First, students in high school must wear a school uniform. Wearing a uniform can make students look tidy and neat. Also, the uniform is the symbol of the school. By contrast, students in college do not need to wear a uniform to school. They can dress themselves any way they like.

Second, students who have part time jobs in high school are fewer. They need to attend class the whole day. Because their classes are arranged by the school, their free time is limited. By contrast, more students have part time jobs in college because they can use their time more freely than high school students. And with the part time job, college students have more opportunities to learn something out of the school.

The most obvious difference between high school students and college students is their mental maturity. High school students are more focused on lessons than putting the learning into life. They do not have enough experience to cope with many problems. When they meet problems, they may avoid them or ask their parents for help. College students are older, and they have more experience for problems they come across. They are mature enough to take responsibilities and solve problems for themselves.

There are many differences between high school students and college students. Not only dressing but also thinking is noticeably different. Most people must go through these two periods, and the changes show that we grow up.
