My Grandmother

When I was a little child I spent a lot of time with my grandmother. My mom was too busy to take care of me. She always took me to grandma’s house for temporary care before she went to work. My grandma is a woman who is not pretty but with charming red hair. She is a little chubby but not too fat. She is tough enough to protect her family. She is a woman who treats other people kindly and gently.

She is a woman who loves her family with her life. That’s the reason why I love her so much. We were so close that I couldn’t live without her. After I attended university, I had less time to stay with her. This makes me feel really sad. I really hope I can have more time to accompany her.  She is old and sick now. I am so afraid of losing her someday. I really can’t take this fear.

In my childhood memory, grandma always cooked delicious food for me. I expected to smell the scent of the lunch every day. Because I knew every meal was full of grandma’s love. And I like to take a nap side by side with my grandma. I was used to listening to her amazing snore. That was like a lullaby for me, which made me feel secure. Grandma always took me to our neighborhood, just because she wanted to have a chat. I’d love to go with her because those neighbors always gave me a lot of candy. That made me quite happy but I felt bored sometimes.

The most impressive memory was to go abroad with grandma. She took me to southern Korea and Japan. It was a lot of fun. We did almost everything together. We saw a lot of beautiful scenery together. We met a lot of funny people together. We took new experience together. We went shopping together. We tasted delicious foreign food together. I did everything with her. I couldn’t leave her in any time.

Although I cannot accompany her frequently now I still love her so much and I will always love her just like before. I hope she can stay healthy until I can show my devotion for her and repay her. I had always received grandma's love and I also want her to know my love for her.
