The Best Birthday Present I Have Ever Received

Many girls had many Barbies or rag dolls in their childhood. But I didn’t. My mom doesn’t like fluffy things, like Teddy Bear, because she cannot tolerate that wool is everywhere in the house. So she didn’t buy any dolls for me. I am the only girl in my family. When I was a child, I envied my brothers very much. They always played with each other happily. I wanted to join them, but they always talked about the toys I didn’t know. I always thought that if I had dolls, I wouldn’t have been so lonely. Dolls could accompany me no matter I was happy or sad. On my nineteenth birthday, when I got home, Mom told me that she had put the birthday gift on my bed. I was so excited and confused. What present would my mother give me? When I opened the door, Oh! It was a Teddy Bear! It was so cute! I loved it so much! Then I went downstairs to thank my mother. She said “I bought the bear for you, because you are always alone since childhood. You are too lonely! Hope it can accompany you from now on! ” Now when I go home, I always hold Teddy in my arms no matter when I am sleeping or doing everything else. Teddy is the best birthday present I have ever received.
