Guangzhou Appeals to Graduates

Nowadays, first-tier cities like Guangzhou, seems to be losing their glamour and small cities like Zhuhai are attracting an increasing number of graduates. However, many conditions in top cities are still appealing to graduates and suitable for them to settle down. Take Guangzhou for example. Its convenient transportation, fairer job markets, and diversified cultural environment are more desirable to young people.

First of all, transportation in Guangzhou is more convenient than that of Zhuhai. When you want to go to other places in Zhuhai, take a bus or a taxi is the only way. Compared with inconvenient transportation in Zhuhai, BRT and subway in Guangzhou are less time consuming. With developed transport, there is even no need to own a car in Guangzhou.

In addition, the job market in Guangzhou is fair, offering different kinds of jobs that young people can choose from. So many of the top 500 companies are located in Guangzhou where competent job seekers can find their right positions. Contrastively, there are fewer international companies in Zhuhai which can provide well-paid jobs. So, finding a high-paying job in Zhuhai is more difficult than in Guangzhou.

Moreover, because of policy support, Guangzhou is becoming an international city, supplying a diversified cultural environment for young individuals, helping them have a promising future. Different people come from all around the world. Thus, foreign-funded enterprises are flourishing. And people conduct many colorful cultural exchanges. Instead, all of these activities are rare in Zhuhai, and recreational activities as well as multi-cultural events are limited.

Guangzhou, a first-tier city with its convenient transportation, fairer job markets, and diversified cultural activities, is superior to Zhuhai and other small cities, and is attracting many graduates to come.
