   Healthful foods are not healthy anymore nowadays. Last summer, I visited my aunt in Guangzhou. She went all the way to Hong Kong to buy powered milk for my little sister for the sake of food safety which has been a hot issue in mainland in recent years. Another sad thing happened to my classmate who ate an egg for breakfast but got poisoned in the afternoon. I was shocked by those two cases, because healthful foods like milk and eggs are not healthy any more. I think profits drive many food producers to combine illegal stuffs with the products and the overuse of agricultural pesticides has decreased the food quality. Luckily, my friend was out of danger after receiving the treatment, but it is unfortunate to those parents who live far away from Hong Kong to buy healthy milk powder. Food safety is such a great concern that we should make laws and implement them effectively to avoid producing toxic foods.
