Ways for Losing Weight

Janice Chen

Nowadays, losing weight prevail the whole world because people become picky about their appearances and bodies. Most of them want to have a slender figure. In order to be thinner, people attempt many different kinds of methods to achieve their goal. I generalize some common ways for losing weight.

The first way is exercising. It is the healthiest way to lose weight. You can go to the park or school playground near your house and jog at least thirty minutes to one hour. Also, you can take the stairs instead of taking the elevator. Exercising not only can help you consume lots of calories but also make your resistance system stronger. If you continuously do exercise, you will be well-balanced and healthy.

Another way is controlling diet. For instance, some people use the radical method; they just drink water and eat fruit all day long. If we constrain the appetite painstakingly, it will make us accumulate pressure and engorge finally. Actually, we can choose the food which contains lots of nutrition, vitamins and minerals instead of junk food. We can have an ordinary diet but diminish absorbing calorific capacity, which is much healthier than not eating anything.

And the last method is eating weight-loss drugs. You can have a usual diet as usual and do not need to exercise. You can be thinner soon by taking some weight-losing medicine. Nonetheless, if you stop taking the drug, you will probably recover the weight fast and become fat like before or even fatter. Eating too much drug will cause side effects like headache, insomnia, etc. Some bad businessmen will sell unauthentic drugs to people who desire to lose weight soon. I had seen the news about a woman who died because she took the unauthentic weight-loss drugs.

I think that exercising and diet are the good ways to lose weight. Although their effects are not faster than those radical methods, they can keep your body much stronger. “Rome was not built in one day.” We have to persevere in doing everything. If we continuously insist on what we want to do, I believe we will feel satisfied with the outcome of our efforts.
