A Gift in Hualien

    This summer, my friends and I took a trip to Hualien in the East Taiwan. Hualien is a beautiful country with the special scenery which a side is facing the ocean and the other side is facing the mountain.  After this trip my friends and I love Hualien more because we got a gift from Hualien. That’s a cat. A tiny cat who is only two months old. She is lovely and healthy now. Here is the story about how we met this gift.

    That was the last day of our trip. At night, one of my friends felt hungry and she decided to go out to buy some night food to feedherself. And we made a decision that we want to have the hot soybean as our night food. My friend asked me if I liked to go with her by riding the bike. I thought that riding the bike seemed pretty fun and I didn’t want her to go out alone so I said yes to her. A few minutes later we put on a jacket, took money and then went to choose the bike which the home stay offered. When we went to the place where the bikes were we heard a little kitty’s voice. It was late and quiet so the voice was very clear. My friend and I followed the voice but we didn’t find anything. But we were not giving up so quickly. We kept searching around and we already forgot the hungriness.

    Because we had been went out for a long time my other friends came out to find us. I told my friends that we were looking for a tiny cat and they said they would search the cat with us. Suddenly one of my friends shot loudly and said: “Hey, guys I find it, the cat.” After hearing that we all ran over to the friend and we did see the cat under a car’s engine hood. She is so tiny that she can hide under it that none of us can reach that. We went to a shop to buy some food for the cat because she kept meowing we thought that maybe she washungry. We were carefully put the milk in front the car as quietly as possible because we were afraid of scaring the cat. After putting the milk, we hid just nearby in order to see if that worked. A few minutes later she was still in there. Just as we were about to give up, she came out. One of my friends caught her when she was having the milk. She looked tinier than we thought but she looked clean as being a homeless cat and her eyes were so bright.

    And then we took her to the nearest animal hospital that we could find and let the animal doctor check her. The doctor told us she is a girl and she is only two months old after checking the number of her teeth. The doctor also took her to shower and feet her some nice food. During the time of showering, one of my friends decided that she wanted to take her home. We all were glad to hear that news and we started to name her. So this story ends with my giving her a name and my friend’sgiving her a home and the cat gives us the love. By the way, the cat’s name is Yoyo. Remember that we found her under an engine hood? The car’s brand is TOYOTA.
