Shopping Online or Shopping in a Real Store

It is convenient to shop online nowadays, so there are more ways for people to shop. For me, I prefer to shop in a real store not only because I can see the real products but also because I am able to control my desire of consumption. Moreover, I would have a chance to hang out with friends.

If we shop in a store, we can see the products straightly instead of seeing only the pictures. I used to shop online for years, and I find that it is not a good way to buy something just by seeing the picture. And most of the time, I received the products that were not the same as the introductions on the websites, and the quality of the things were bad. Sometimes I should return the goods by paying the postage on my own. In contrast, if I go to a shop to buy a new product, I could see the real one and I could have a sample to try on to see if it is suitable for me.

It is hard to control myself from buying things when I am shopping online. First of all, it takes little time for me to shop online, so I always check to put the things into the shopping cart without hesitation. I would buy many goods and spend too much money without thinking too much. I had wasted money for buying the unimportant things for a long time!

Another reason that I like to shop in the real stores is I can have a chance to go out with friends and ask them for advice. I am a person who cannot make decisions when buying things, so I need someone to give me suggestions when I am shopping. If I go out with friends, they would offer more options and we can discuss together. We can exchange our ideas when choosing the products. What’s more, we can bargain with the seller for a lower price. There is a lot of fun shopping with friends.

Nowadays, it is a good way for people to buy things online because of its convenience, but there are still some disadvantages. The disadvantages include the low quality of products, buying without thinking, and not having any advice. Actually, the results of online purchasing are always disappointing. I am going to quit this habit in order to save money and buy the right things that I need. Mostly, I want to enjoy the fun of shopping in a real store with companions.
