What a Bad Day!

Vicky Chen

I would never change my plans. Once I canceled my plans on the weekend just because of my laziness. At that time I did not care about how dramatic the result would be.Thus, I tried to live as usual but everything turned out quite unexpectedly.

When I woke up in the morning,I was already late for dating with my friends. I watched the clock closely for a while and made a decision, andyet shouted out in my mind,“Leave me alone! I just want to sleep!”Then I tucked myself in and slept like a log. After a long time, I was awakened by a high-pitched noise. “What time is it?”I did not know! In order to find out the source of loud noise, I followed the noise with my eyes dim with sleep.

The water was boiling briskly! And it was already overflowed! I used a mop to sop up the spilled water and squeezed the water out with my hands. “Oh my god!”I rushed to the bathroom as soon as my hands were burned badly by the hot water.

Tears formed in my eyes as I saw some blains appear my hands; meanwhile, I was so hungry and my stomach was rumbling. However, I could not cook myself because my hands were badlyhurt and there was nobody home. “Just send out for a pizza!”I thought. Then I chose my favorite pizza favor andwished that pizza rushed in my eyes as soon as possible.

“Ding Dong.” The bell was ringing! I rushed to the door with disordered hair and pajamas. When I looked up to see the man who delivered the pizza, I had a thought. The man’s face seemed familiar, but I could not recall his name. “This is your order!”His voice reminded me that he was once my classmate. While I was thinking his name, the man looked strangely at me. “Gosh!”I still wore home clothing and my appearance just looked like a terrible mess. How embarrassing! I couldn’t believe my first meeting with an old friend after graduation was that awkward!

That day was totally not my day! Everything seemed related and could link up for a ridiculous story. I hate to admit that I am an unlucky girl, and I only wish that I could have more luck in the future.
