One Important Change I Would Make in My School

When it comes to changes, I would just think of what benefits the students most. Therefore, I would like to change the library service if I could make one important change in my school.A library is always the most critical element and foundation of a university. Thus, I would reinforce the service of the library system in my school due to the reasons as follows.

To begin with, the library should provide not only abundant but also varied collections of materials, including different academic territories and data forms.By so doing, the teachers in the school would have huge teaching materials and more resources to make the teaching effects better.One of the professors in the school said,"As class teachers today are under more pressure than ever…we “WILL” truly appreciate the service that the librarian provides resources.”Also, the students would have plenty of resources to complete their homework. Furthermore, the collections of the library should not only include books, but also different kinds of data, for example, latest Music CD, iPad mini, maps, iMac with iTV, etc. The variations of collections in the library would help us learn the knowledge more quickly and to attract more users to enter the library.

In addition, the library should try its best to attract more students to come to use the facilities and collections of the library. In other words, the library should improve the services more aggressively in order to make students come to study in it. However, do students consider a librarian as a study support co-ordinator? You probably would answer “No”, if you are a PCCU student. When I was a student in Murray State University of my sophomore year, we had a Library Breakfast Club which offered support in using the computers and reference materials for homework. Also, they offer support to their club members when their tests results and exams results are poor. Moreover, the PCCU library should set up a study club in the library as the MSU library does. My reason is the study club will help boost our English,and the future belongs to those who know how to learn English and keep learning it.

In conclusion, the library in our school should be changed not only in the quantity and quality of collections and data, but also the program of the study group. The school library is the heart of school, which itself has learning as its core and good libraries can empower the learners. The improved resources in a school library can allow students' imaginations to run free and allow professors access more knowledge. Also, the study group program is important because students will become interested in learning with a group sharing the same ideas and interests.
