Three Types of Students

Vicky Hsieh

When I entered college, I found that college life was very colorful. The reason is that there are many different types of students studying in a college. I think that college students can be divided into three types.

The first type is diligent students. This type of students is very hard-working and teachers do not need to press them to study or do their homework. They have ambition to strive for the best. Also, they can influence other students in the class. For example, Amy is an industrious and clever student. She always fulfills her responsibility and studies very hard.

The second type of students is passive students. This kind of students often needs people to push and remind them to fulfill their duty. These students are not bad students; they just need someone to lead them to avoid losing their direction. These students usually account for the largest number of students in the class. And I am one of them. I am a passive student and I usually wait for teachers’ order to do everything.

The third type of students is clamorous students. These students usually sit in the back of the classroom. They often interfere with teachers and other students. Teachers are usually unwilling to interact with them because they are not easy to teach and control. Hence, they are usually the undesirable students in the class.

To sum up, these three types of students can be found in most schools. Diligent students are very hard-working and usually study by themselves. And I consider that most students are passive students and they often need someone to remind or push them to work hard. As to clamorous students, they usually disrupt the order in the class. In almost every class, there are these different types of students.
