A Healthy Change

      Recent studies have shown that having a healthy spirit could be as important as a healthy body. Nowadays, many peoples put too many pressures on themselves and cannot find a solution to the problem in their life. When I was 18, I had the same problem. I faced the academic pressure, a friend’s betrayal, and puzzlement of life. My mind was filled with frustration, loneliness, and sense of insecurity. Many things could make me howl. I knew that I was not happy, but I did not know how to resolve it. Luckily, I still have some bosom friends who helped me get through with my low-spirited period and supported me when I felt disappointed. Now I realize that the healthy lifestyle would bring positive thoughts, confidence, and faith.

      Being positive is a good way to keep your mind healthy. You need to find something positive to focus on for the day. When the negative emotion comes back, you have to find a solution rather than complain about your life.

      You should have more confidence in yourself. Learn to accept and appreciate yourself even though you have some defects so that you can be content with your life. Do not just pursue the impossible goal because it makes you unhappy.

      To have a faith is also helpful for your spiritual health. A faith means not only a religion but also a purpose in your life. Researchers have found that people who have a faith or belief would have more positive outlook on life and look at disease or failure in a different way than nonbelievers.

      I believe that the three basic elements above would help you have a healthy spirit and keep the illness away. To conclude, a healthy lifestyle makes your life fulfilling and relaxing.
