A Bus Trip to the South of Taiwan

Traveling by bus is an interesting activity. I had traveled around Taiwan by bus before. I joined a tour group with my family. The travel agency planned the bus trip for visiting three different places. The first destination was Tainan. Then the bus drove to Kaohsiung on the second day.At the end of the trip we went to Kenting.The trip was great, and it was an unforgettable memory for me.

The tour group set off on the bus to Tainan at 10 o’clock in the morning. Tainan is a beautiful city which is famous for many historic spots. We visited Anping Fort which was built by Dutch in 1624. Seeing an ancient architecture in person is an interesting thing. These historic spots usually appear in the textbook. I was so excited and took many pictures of the architecture. The tour guide introduced the background of these historic sites to visitors. I think it is a good way to enhance and glorify Taiwan’s culture. The second destination was Kaohsiung. I have heard about the new theme park which contains many stores, hotels and playgrounds. That is one of the reasons that I chose this trip. Unfortunately, I did not feel well when I got there. My mom asked me to stay in the hotel. The night was terrible. The only thing which I could do was staying on the bed and sleeping. After taking the medicine I felt better. However, I was so sad because I missed the chance for visiting the new theme park.

The last place I went was Kenting. The schedule on that day was to visit the most famous beach in Kenting. Arriving there, I hopped off the bus and ran to the beach immediately. The sky was so blue and cloudless. The ocean was like a diamond shining under the sun. I was immersed in the gorgeous scenes. Suddenly my brother said, “Let’s play the beach volleyball!” I joined the game with him and we really had fun on the beach. The dinner was wonderful. At the end of the day, I felt contented with the whole trip.Different places have their own features. I had deep realization about this statement from this trip. I will never forget the historic spots in Tainan and the beach in Kenting. In addition, Kaohsiung is the blemish in an otherwise perfect trip. I am looking forward to the next tour out of town, and Kaohsiung will certainly be the first destination that I want to reach.
