Luck or Opportunity

"Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity." Actually, I just agree half of it. I do not think we can get what we want by both of them. Even though we have the luck to get a chance, we cannot succeed without good preparation. We have to try our best on the things we do, and then we get what we want.

Luck is important to us, but we should not take it for granted. How to make the luck become the opportunity is determined on how many efforts we put. We have many chances in our life; however, only those who are well-prepared can seize the chance. Luck only comes by accident and is just one of the ways to quick success.

I think opportunities are a sequence of chances. We can get an opportunity when we have prepared. Chances come anytime, but if we never try to strive for our highest standards, the only thing we get is failure. If we do not enrich ourselves, we cannot hold the opportunity when it comes. Once we grasp the opportunity well, we are half way to success.

“No pain, no gain.” This tells us there is no free lunch. It is impossible to succeed without efforts. Even lucky people have unfortunate time. But if we have prepared for everything, we can turn the tide and let the crisis be a turning point. Even though Luck and opportunity are what we cannot predict, we can assure success by making as many efforts as possible.
