Types of Ice Products I Like

Whenever the summer comes, the most exciting thing to me is to eat ice products. Due to my poor health, I was unable to eat any frozen food when I was a kid because it will cause me coughing seriously. Yet, as my body becomes stronger, I thus have chance to taste all fascinating ice products. And, among all ice products, I enjoy tasting them in soft serve, scoop and shaved style respectively.

Soft serve, just like general ice cream made by machines, is really soft and tasty. For example, frozen yogurt is one type of soft serve; it is made with low fat yogurt and many fresh fruits. Also, it has agreeable sweetness, which attracts me a lot. As for the flavor, it has many good options; from ordinary tastes like vanilla, chocolate or milk to special flavors such as tiramisu, berries, black tea latte, etc. Further, sometimes, the sundae is also presented in this shape; added with dairy products, it tastes smoother than frozen yogurt.

Next, scoops of different kinds of ice cream are also on my list too. In this category, scoops of ice cream can be classified into gelato, French ice cream, dondurma, etc. These delicious frozen desserts are solider than soft serve. In gelato, the fat in milk content is only five to ten percent, which is lower than general ice cream. Hence, it has the lightest taste in this category. Next, the French ice cream combines both rich and refreshing taste in ordinary American ice cream and gelato. The last one, also called Turkish ice cream, is added salep and mastic to make it sticker and melt slower.

Lastly, shaved ice is a large family of ice-based dessert made of fine shavings of ice and sweet condiments or syrup. Usually, syrup is added after the ice has been frozen and shaved, typically at the point of sale. Yet, flavoring can also be added before freezing. Like the famous ice brand "Ice Monster", the store serves a variety of shaved snow with general and seasonal fruits; these shaved snow also have snacks to match with. As for snow cone, it is a variation of shaved ice commonly served in paper cones or cups. This ice dessert consists of only shaved ice and its flavored sugar syrup, which is simpler than any other ice dessert. Still, it is worth tasting.

Among all the ice desserts I have tasted so far, all of them are unique and have their styles. From general to creative ice desserts, all of them are just amazing. Moreover, flavors have become more multiple nowadays. More odd and attractive flavors have been showing up in ice shops, even in convenience stores. Hence, I cannot decide which my favorite type is because they are all enchanting to me. And I deeply think that my life has become much more enjoyable when I finally have had chances to taste these yummy ice desserts.
