An Amazing Grade on Exam

I think an event that made my life different is I got the bad grades on senior high school entrance exam. Before the exam, my relatives thought I could enter the top or good senior high school. In fact, I couldn’t even enter the worst public school. It really shocked my family. Therefore, they started to do something to wish I could be better.

My grandfather started to support my tuition and give me allowance sometimes; he didn’t want me to have a part-time job and become distracted on my studies. He hoped I could be a person who could care for my disabled parents well. We kept in touch more frequently than before. Before this event, actually, we were indifferent to each other because of the different languages we used.

My aunts introduced some cram school to me, and hoped I could improve my grades. They even asked their children to teach me. Sometimes, they asked me to go out with them! Honestly, that made me under much pressure…. I couldn’t understand why they wanted to help me and to treat me well, because we were also indifferent before.

By this event, I understood my family again. Originally, there were lots of people concerning my parents and us (my brother and me). That was really out of my imagination. But I thought another beneficiary of the event were my parents. They didn’t need to worry about my tuition and behavior. They could be relieved to know that their children would be taken good care of.

After the second senior high school entrance exam, I entered a so-so public school. Afterward, I met my best friends, nice classmates and good teachers and had a lot of wonderful memorizes in there. Actually, I thought I got many benefits in this event. It is said that who you are now is decided by what you did in the past, even though you did the wrong thing. I appreciated all that I have gone through.
