Finding a Job or Continuing Studying

Zack Wang

I will graduate from university next year. I think it is time to make a decision about my future. It is hard to me because there are many options that I can choose. But I think working is the best choice for me, so I will find a job after graduating from school. And the following are the reasons for my decision.

Frist, I can earn more money by working than continuing studying. If I continue my study, I need to pay for my study and lose 2 to 3 years’ working. I think it is not reasonable for me because I may earn about 1 million dollars in this 2-3 years. So I will choose to work, not study.

Second, if I go to work earlier, I can meet more successful people. When I have some successful friends around me, I can learn more from them and copy their successful experiences to make myself succeed. Those people will give me advice or help when I need them. So if I work for a long time, I am likely to get more chances to succeed because of my connections with important persons.

Third, I need to help my parents to take care of my sister. My sister is a primary student now, and when I graduate from PCCU, she is still a junior high school student. I want to support her, including her tuition and living expenses to reduce my parents’ financial burden. I think this is the best way to help my family.

Finally, I think that working is better than studying. When I am working hard, I am also learning at the same time. I am learning to face the working problems, find ways solve them and make my life become successful. And I hope that I can subsidize my sister to become a university student. Thus, finding a job will become my first choice when I graduate from university.
