Let’s All Pass

Rachel Wu

As long as you’re a student, you must want to get the high grade and the teacher’s praise in every subject. I think it’s difficult for those students who like to have fun to pass all the courses in a semester. There are many reasons, but it doesn’t mean they neglect their lessons. Many university students cannot come to school every day and stay in the classroom duteously. Some of them have to care of other matters or a part-time job. However, the educational background and outstanding grades of school are significant in today’s society. Besides being a good student, it’s also important to pass all class. How to pass every class? I will give my experience to explain how to do it. You can follow my tips.

Attend every class on time. Attendance is not only a respect to the teacher, but also a part of grades. Be careful for the record of your attendance, or your grades will be influenced. Attending the class is a duty of being a student after all.

Remember to bring the textbook. Take notes dutifully of what the teacher emphasizes in class. It’s a key for learning well. Besides writing down what the teacher says, underlining the major sentence that has the main idea is the most important. Never talk in class because you will bother the teacher’s teaching and the classmates’ listening to the lesson. Everybody has questions, so raise your hand to ask your question about the lesson which makes you feel confused. Solving the problems and getting the answer are able to help you improve fast.

After the class, you have to do the homework which is assigned by the teacher. Finish it when you have the best of your memory. It’s the most important, but many students easily get lazy. Accomplish the homework and review the notes, and you will learn the whole information effectively. Then you can preview the next chapter before the class. Of course you have to study hard to prepare for the midterm and the final exam, even a quiz. Some professors tend to emphasize more on the report than tests.

Choose the one way you feel comfortable to learn. If you can concentrate on the class and do your best, the teachers will not make things difficult for you. Obey the basic demands of the professors, and I believe passing all the courses is not a dream or a nightmare to you.
