Internet Classrooms vs. Traditional Classrooms

Nowadays, more and more people learn over the Internet. It seems common that students complete their schoolwork through the Internet or by joining the On-line Interaction Classes. Some people think that it is more convenient to learn over the Internet than in the traditional class. Unlike those who like to learn over the Internet, I prefer the traditional class because of the following three reasons.

The first reason is that I consider it is necessary and important to interact with the teachers and other students in person. By interacting with teachers and other students in the real life, we could learn how to communicate and cooperate with others. We can improve our social skills.

Second, when we are communicating or discussing with others, we may enjoy progresses and have good experience or even learn more knowledge that we didn't know before. By contacting others, we can correct our wrong ideas or even learn something new. In a word, we can make ourselves become better persons.

The last reason is that we can have the chance to make friends with real people. In my opinion, there is a big difference between making friends in the real life and making friends on the Net. On the Net, everything could be unreal, and the relationship is usually short-lived.

Though learning over the Internet or join the online Interaction Classes sometimes seem more convenient, I still like the traditional classroom. There are still many things that the Net can't provide, just as there are many things of humans that a computer or a robot can’t take over.
