My Room

Tanya Jian

I have a room which is very crowded. One of the reasons is that I have a lot of things, and another reason is that my room is small. A small room may make us have an illusion that things are even more than they are. When you enter the room, on your left, against the wall, you will see four bookcases which are teeming with all my cherished books. Textbooks, novels, comic books and other kinds of books are just like students sitting silently in their own seats. On the top of the bookcases are my art masterpieces which were done when I was a high school student. Next to the bookcases is my bed, and there is a Teddy Bear sleeping on it. Across a little and narrowed aisle, there’s a large and long desk, which crosses from one wall to another. On the desk, there are three stacks of books on the left side, and behind those books are my different kinds of boxes with different kinds of pens and pencils; the computer and its outfit are on the right of it. On you right-hand side is a closet which is like a six-foot tall person standing firmly by the window that is full of my clothes. Next to the closet is a CD player which is placed on the floor, and a yellow box with a lot of CDs is nearby it. Although the box is quite big, it can’t include all my CDs, so a few of them are stacked up on the top of the box. Besides, the walls are occupied with the posters of movie stars and singers. Maybe my room is small and full of lot of things; I still like it very much. That’s because everything in my room is my precious treasure.
