The Most Serious Problem in My College Life

      I have a serious problem in my college life. The problem is I always go to bed after one o’clock a.m. everyday. I think this is a common problem for those students who don’t live with their parents. I rent a room which is near the school and I live with my classmate. My roommate and I have this serious problem. This problem has brought many negative effects on me.

     Many doctors say that people should go to sleep by 11 o’clock p.m. because the time after 11 o’clock p.m. is for our organs to take a rest. Going to bed so late is not good for my health, and it will make my body become weaker than before. That’s why I have a cold more easily than other people. And my skin situation is not good and there are dark circles around my eyes.

     Going to bed so late will make me feel tired on the next day. And I have to drink coffee to stimulate my spirit. This is not a good way to solve this problem because drinking coffee makes me unable to sleep in the night. I think the most serious problem is I can not concentrate on the class. Maybe I will fall asleep when the teacher is teaching.

     The most serious effect is I often oversleep. So I miss many early morning classes. This is a very big problem in my college life because if I miss too many classes I will not be able to take the final exam. Actually, I set the alarm clock every morning but I always ignore it.

     All of the effects are really bad for my college life. I want to get rid of this bad habit and I hope I can go to bed early everyday. Going to bed early is good for not only my health but also my college life. When I start to work, this habit will affect me even more adversely, so I have to get rid of it as soon as possible.
