These oven-baked pasta chips take the TikTok favorite to a whole new level with a satisfying crunch, simple seasoning, and a creamy dip that’s hard to resist. Made with bite-size pasta like rigatoni, coated in olive oil, herbs, and Parmesan, then toasted in the oven, they offer a healthier, oven-crispy alternative to traditional chips. Paired with a garlicky, herby cream cheese–Greek yogurt dip topped with juicy cherry tomato slices, they’re perfect for movie nights or sharing as a party snack.
For the pasta chips
400 g rigatoni pasta
1.5–2 tsp each of rosemary, oregano, thyme, basil, and marjoram
Garlic powder (to taste)
Paprika (to taste)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
50 ml olive oil
200 g Parmesan cheese
For the dipping sauce
100 ml Greek yogurt
100 g cream cheese
4–5 cherry tomatoes
½–1 tsp minced garlic
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1–2 tsp choice of Italian herbs (rosemary, oregano, thyme, basil, or marjoram)
Oven-Baked Pasta Chips
Cook rigatoni al dente according to package instructions in salted boiling water; drain.
Preheat oven to 400 °F (≈ 200 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
Spread pasta in a single layer on the prepared sheet—avoid overlapping.
In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and the herbs. Pour over the pasta.
Sprinkle Parmesan over the pasta and toss gently to coat. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden and crisp.
Dipping Sauce
Blend Greek yogurt and cream cheese until smooth.
Stir in minced garlic, salt, pepper, chosen herbs, and a splash of oil; pulse in a blender for an even consistency.
Top with halved cherry tomatoes. Serve alongside the hot pasta chips.
