This Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak is a quick and flavorful dish that combines tender skirt steak with a rich, golden garlic butter sauce. Ready in just 15 minutes, it's perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions. The steak is seared to perfection and topped with a fragrant garlic butter, making each bite juicy and satisfying.
2 lbs skirt steak
Salt and pepper, to taste
6 tsp garlic, minced
6 tbsp butter
½ cup chopped parsley
Prepare the Steak: Cut the skirt steak to fit your skillet. Pat dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the Steak: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add the steak and brown both sides for about 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or cook to desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
Make the Garlic Butter: In another skillet, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and stir constantly until the garlic turns lightly golden. Remove from heat immediately to avoid burning.
Serve: Slice the rested steak against the grain. Pour the garlic butter over the steak slices and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
