8–10 chicken tenders (or equivalent chicken breast strips)
⅓ cup dijon mustard
⅓ cup honey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cooking spray (for finishing)
Preheat oven to 425 °F (220 °C).
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Set aside.
Season chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
Dip each tender into the honey‑mustard mixture, letting any excess drip off, then coat evenly in panko breadcrumbs.
Arrange tenders on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray to achieve extra browning and crispness.
Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and cooked through (internal temperature ~165 °F / 74 °C). Serve hot with extra honey‑mustard or preferred sauces.
