Breakfast Rolls are a delicious and convenient way to enjoy a hearty morning meal. These rolls are stuffed with classic breakfast ingredients like eggs, cheese, and your choice of sausage or bacon, all wrapped in soft, golden dough. Perfect for meal prepping or serving at brunch, these rolls are portable, satisfying, and sure to please the whole family.
Ingredients:
1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces)
6 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup cooked breakfast sausage or bacon, crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or green onions (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble the eggs in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until just set. Remove from heat.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs, cooked sausage or bacon, and shredded cheese at the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle with chives or green onions if desired.
Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end toward the point, tucking in the filling as you go. Place rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
